Harry is a turkey vulture who has been with us since January 2001. He was found in the wild in Northern California as an injured fledgling and taken to a rehabilitation center. His left wing was badly damaged and not able to be fully repaired, so he was transferred to Wildworks for permanent care. Harry adjusted quickly to his new habitat at Wildworks, except for one thing. Turkey vultures are social birds and at home, alone in his enclosure, we were worried that he might be lonely. Harry now has a couple of friendly hens keeping him company!
