Mollie Hogan President/Executive Director. Ms. Hogan is the founder of The Nature of Wildworks. She oversees all aspects of the Center’s activities including supervision of animal care and outreach programs. In 1985 she graduated from the Moorpark College Teaching Zoo then later returned as an instructor teaching Wildlife Education and Entertainment and Education in Animal Parks. From 1986-1999 Mollie was an animal trainer and educator at the Los Angeles Zoo, presenting numerous educational and entertaining programs, one being “Wild in the City,” a program on urban wildlife. When the program lost funding in 1993, Mollie acquired the shows’ wildlife and formed what is now the non-profit organization, The Nature of Wildworks, Inc.
Christina Conti. Chris attended Michigan State University and holds degrees from Mount St. Mary’s College and Chapman University. She is a Registered Nurse who continues to work occasionally on research projects. Her passion for all animals led her to become interested in The Nature of Wildworks, and she is an enthusiastic, contributing member of the Board as of 2009.
Michael Kaiser, Advisor, Marketing and Advertising. Michael is the founder and President of Kaiser Marketing, a major advertising agency in West Los Angeles. Kaiser Marketing offers creative design expertise for Nature of Wildworks’ promotional and collateral materials.
Neil Kelley. VP/Secretary/Director of Development. A retired career publishing executive with the New York Times, he now focuses his efforts on fundraising and strategic planning for Wildworks.
David Maynard. VP/ Director of Architectural and Graphic Design. David is a professional architect working in San Francisco with the architectural firm Kuth/Ranieri. His knowledge of environmental land use and planning is a vital asset to the Nature of Wildworks as we create the design and parameters for our future environmental education center.
Kim Nicholas. VP/Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer. Kim graduated from the USC accounting program in 1985, and spent three years in public accounting with a Los Angeles CPA firm. As a CPA, she brings vital financial disciplines to Wildworks necessary for our continued growth.
Barbara Valk, Chair. Barbara is the founder and Director Emeritus of an award-winning, web-based bibliographic reference publication based at UCLA and the author/editor of several other books and articles. She brings to Wildworks her writing and editorial skills as well as extensive experience in grant preparation, event planning, and publicity for non-profit organizations.
Lindsay Stewart is a producer for the Fox News Channel based in the Los
Angeles bureau covering politics in the western region of the United
States. When she’s not working, Lindsay loves to read and cook. Lindsay
lives in Toluca Lake with her husband, Matt, and Boston Terrier, Jonesy.
